Chanel Glossimer in Constellation

I was at the Chanel counter at the Macy's in Beverly Center looking at makeup when I just decided to splurge on some things. I love impulse buying<33333 One of the things I picked up that day was this GORGEOUS lip gloss. Constellation to me is a very sheer peachy pink gloss with lots of fine glitter running through it. The glitter is mostly gold, but there are lots of other colors floating through it, making it look like a "constellation." In the sunlight, I can see lots of blue, pink, green, and violet colored glitter floating in it too. It reminds me of a much prettier, much more sophisticated MAC Dazzleglass. But alas, it's Chanel, so it's much more lux :] I feel as though Chanel Glossimers have a plumping property to them. Not in a painful burning way, but in a way that just makes your lips look and feel bigger and more lush and so much smoother. It's hard to explain, you'd just have to try one on and sit there for a few minutes. Uggghhhhh glossimers are just so eye-catching and truly beautiful, especially in the right lighting<3333 As obsessed with lipstick as I am, I surprisingly just like to wear Glossimers on their own :] I feel like the glitter/shimmer can be seen so much better and it's just such a fresh flattering look. Of course, they do look amazing over lipstick as well though. I like to dab them on top rather than brush the product in, to avoid dulling the glittering properties of the gloss. Look closely at the picture above- I tried my best to capture Constellation's beauty with a digital camera and indoor lighting lol... Tell me what you think<3333333

MAC Honour Blush: A Gorgeous Golden Glow

MAC's Honour blush is a gorgeous shimmery golden beige, especially for someone with a tan... I tend to use it more as a highlighter powder rather than an actual blush. It looks really pretty dusted over the high points of your face, and gives a really nice healthy glow. It has some subtle shimmer but not by any means is it tacky or overwhelming. Let me know what you think about Honour :]

MAC Springsheen Blush: The Perfect Blush For Spring

MAC's Springsheen Blush is a gorgeous color to sweep onto your cheeks for Spring and Summer!!! It's a really warm peachy pink/coral with subtle gold micro-shimmer. It's a Sheertone Shimmer so it gives you a gorgeous flush and a pretty sheen without looking too dramatic. It's very similar to NARS' ever-popular Orgasm blush but it's a bit more sheer. What do you think of Springsheen? Let me know :]

MAC Peachtwist Blush

MAC's Peachtwist is a Sheertone Shimmer Blush... It was one of my impulse buys on a makeup shopping trip a few months ago. The color is kind of a bronzey peach... It's warm-toned and has some slight shimmer to it. It's a really nice pretty color if you have a nice tan going on- it's kinda peachy brown and has a really nice sheen to it. On me it looks like a nice glowing terra-cotta shade, almost like bronzer. It really warms up the complexion and gives a real beachy feel... I think it's a color that looks much prettier on the skin than in the pan, you know what I mean? If you don't already have it, check it out!!! It might be your perfect Summer-time blush!!

MAC's Contrast Eyeshadow

MAC's Contrast eyeshadow is another gorgeous dark color that I've been wearing for years. It's a very very dark cobalt blue with dark blue reflects. It's perfect for doing a smokey eye, especially a dark blue smokey eye. I've heard of a lot of people wearing Contrast as an eyeliner because of it tends to pop a little more than a flat black, and the subtle sparkle is nice along the lashlines. I recommend Contrast to anyone looking for a very dark sparkly blue eyeshadow :]

OPI Nail Polish in Baby It's Coal Outside

Baby Its Coal Outside by OPI was released in 2008 as part of the OPI Holiday in Toyland Collection. It's a beautiful dark charcoal-black with silver and other multi-colored micro-shimmer heavily loaded in the formula. Baby It's Coal Outside is pretty intensely pigmented because this stuff shows up as opaque pretty easily. I would consider this stuff to be the nail polish version of MAC's Blacktied eyeshadow. I love how sparkly this polish is :]

MAC Dazzleglass in Bare Necessity

I've been collecting nude lip glosses for years now... I just love all different kinds of nudes from pale to dark, flat to glittery, sheer to highly pigmented. I was picking some stuff up at the MAC counter when MAC's Dazzleglass in Bare Necessity caught my eye. When I swatched it on the back of my hand, it was so unique that I just had to have it :] It's super sheer, in fact it shows up as clear on my very pigmented lips. I guess I'll just have to wear this stuff on top of some nude lipstick... It has loads of gorgeous microscopic glitter in it, mostly magenta and just a little bit of gold glitter as well. This stuff shines so brilliantly in sunlight, even though I prefer to wear Dazzleglasses at nighttime. I love the consistency of MAC's Dazzleglasses, as they're nowhere near as sticky as regular lipglasses. One thing that I hate, though, is that Dazzleglasses are about $20 after tax and only contain about 2 grams of product. Regular lipglasses are about $16 after tax and contain nearly 5 grams of product. But I guess you have to pay the price for what you want, which is all those beautiful little sparkles :] Does anyone else love Dazzleglasses? What's your favorite one?

NARS Eyeshadow Duo in Cordura

I was at my local Sephora the other day looking at my favorite section for some new eyeshadows. Of course, NARS is my favorite aisle at my Sephora, and their products never seem to disappoint. I swatched a few of the singles, then some of the duos, and this set really caught my eye. The eyeshadow on the left side of the duo is a rich, warm shimmery bronze color, which is the more wearable of the two. It's a great color to wear on its own all over the lid and is great for daywear. My favorite of the two, however, is by far the one on the right. It's a very very sophisticated black coffee color concentrated with lots of golden shimmer. This is a GORGEOUS color for nighttime. I like to wear it in the crease and on the lower lashline, then I pack it on in the outer V area. These colors go together perfectly to make a deep and dramatic brown smokey eye, but when worn very sheerly, could almost pass as neutrals. NARS shadows are EXTREMELY PIGMENTED and blend so beautifully. Generally, what you see in the pan is what you get on your eyelids, when applied with the proper brushes over the right eyeshadow base. Cordura is such a gorgeous duo and I find myself grabbing for it pretty often. Soooooo, is anyone else currently OBSESSED with this eyeshadow duo from NARS right now too?!?! What's your favorite color of the two? :]

MAC Strobe Cream: Light and Luminous

MAC's Strobe Cream has recently become one of my absolute favorite multi-purpose skincare products!!! It's an amazing lightweight moisturizer, and it contains numerous vitamins, antioxidants, and green tea extract. It prepares my skin for foundation by smoothing it out and evening out my skintone. It also contains iridescent particles that enhance the appearance of skin, making it look fresher and brighter. I like that it'll make you glow but it's not overly shimmer. Since it does have an iridescent quality, I also like to use it as a very subtle highlight. Sometimes I mix a little of it into my foundation if I want to look just a little more glowy and dewy and not as matte. It's seriously one of the greatest products MAC has in it's permanent skincare line and will have you instantly looking luminous. It's $30 for 1.7 oz but should last you a while because you really don't need to use that much of it to see it's effects. Anyone else use MAC's Strobe Cream? What's your favorite MAC skincare product?

NARS Orgasm Blush: A Shimmery Golden Afterglow

NARS Orgasm blush has been a staple in my makeup collection for a few years now... I remember hearing lots of hype about how the product gives you the perfect flushed look and that it looks amazing on every skin-tone. I have to agree. Though NARS does have very many colors and textures of blush, I totally believe that their Orgasm shade is universally flattering and I absolutely LOVE the gorgeous super-fine gold shimmer it deposits on the cheeks. Orgasm is a beautiful, warm pink-peach-coral color, it's highly pigmented, and, like all blushes, can be worn as a sheer wash over the apples of the cheeks, or deposited much heavier with a denser brush for a more dramatic look. I have found that very many companies have tried to duplicate Orgasm blush, but no one can hold a candle to this cult favorite. The texture, the pigmentation, the blendability, the lasting power, the gorgeous golden shimmer, the packaging... All of these factors add up to create the most sought-after product of the NARS cosmetics line. I must admit, I don't grab for this product very often, but when I do, I am reminded why this blush is just SO POPULAR!!! How can you not love Orgasm?!?!? :] Do you wear Orgasm often? How do you like it on your skin tone? Do you like it better than Super Orgasm? How do you usually wear this blush? Let me know if you LOVE this color too<3333

TAJ MAHAL ALL FALL.

The other day I went to the NARS counter at the Nordstrom in Fashion Valley in San Diego. I needed to stock up on some of my everyday basics because my local Nordstrom unfortunately doesn't carry NARS. I picked up my fave powder foundation, some blushes, and a lip gloss. I was glad to see Taj Mahal blush on display because I heard that it'd been discontinued and could only be purchased on the acutual NARS website. Taj Mahal is a rich burnt orange color. It's kind of like a very ripe tangerine, and it has gorgeous golden micro-shimmer in it. There really aren't any other blushes this color out on the market right now, and I hear that Francois Nars actually created it especially for Naomi Campbell. Of all my NARS blushes, this one is currently my favorite and I'm sure I'll wear it all Fall. It's just such a rich and vibrant color that gives you the perfect flush of luminous color that really warms up the face without looking overdone. Is anyone else obsessed with Taj Mahal right now?!!? :]
